בטי וג׳ק צ׳רני
בטי וג'ק נולדו שניהם במלבורן אוסטרליה להורים שברחו מפולין לפני מלחמת העולם השנייה.
הם גדלו על ברכי היהדות ואהבת ישראל.
בטי הייתה חברה פעילה בתנועת הנוער "הבונים" ורבים מחבריה עלו ארצה.
הם נישאו בשנת 1956 ומהר מאוד נולדו להם 3 בנים: נתן, מארק ודוד.
שניהם תמכו באופן מלא בעליית דוד ונתן לישראל ואהבו להגיע ולבקר בישראל.
בטי מתה צעירה מדי לאחר מחלה ארוכה ואכזרית בגיל 67 בשנת 2001.
לאחר פטירתה ג'ק ביקר בישראל עוד 20 פעמים עד לטיול האחרון שלו ב-2019.
הוא אהב להסתובב ברחובות בנימינה ולאסוף את הנכדים מבית הספר "אשכולות".
ג'ק נפטר בשנת 2023 בגיל 91.
החברים והמשפחה אהבו אותם ומתגעגעים.
Betty and Jack were both born in Melbourne Australia to parents who fled Poland before WW2
They grew up enriched by Yiddishkeit and a love for Israel.
Betty was an active member in the youth movement "Habonim" and many of her friends made Aliya.
They were married in 1956 and very quickly had 3 sons: Nathan, Mark and David.
They both fully supported David and Nathan's Aliya and loved spending time in Israel.
Betty died too young after a long and cruel illness aged 67 in 2001.
After Her passing Jack visited Israel another 20 times till his last trip in 2019.
He loved walking the streets of Binyamina and picking up his grandchildren from Eshkolot" school."
Jack passed away in 2023 aged 91.
They were both loved and are missed by family and friends.
